To All My Valued Clients,

I regret to inform you that the ‘Orthopedic Massage & Rehabilitation Group’ will officially be closing its doors. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has affected small businesses all over the country and I am afraid I was not immune to the repercussions of such of a global event.

It has been a wonderful journey full of blood, sweat, and tears - and I am truly honored to have had all of you as clients and patients alike. I consider myself extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to not only do what I do, but to meet so many people along the way. If it wasn’t for your support, I wouldn’t have made it this far. The support you have all given me has allowed me to pursue my dreams and passions and for that, I am forever grateful.

However, this is not the end. I will still be practicing in some capacity, albeit on a smaller scale. It is likely that I will be performing in-home sessions for the time being and/or finding a new, smaller location to perform massage therapy services once the pandemic blows over and we can all return to what will be our new normal. As most of you know, I will also be getting more involved in the fitness and medical fields.

For those of you who purchased online gift certificates during this time, I truly can’t thank you enough. You have helped me more than you know. I want to ensure you that your sessions are still redeemable – although they will not be held at the North Haven location.

I will be reaching out to many of you personally within the coming weeks. Again – thank you all so much for everything you’ve done and all your support. It means the world to me.

Stay safe, everyone. Until next time.

To All My Valued Clients,

As many of you know, I was on a hiatus from the office for a duration of 5 weeks. I was utilizing this time to study for the MCAT examination for entry into medical school. The office was to open again as of Monday, March 16. I have been following news and updates on the coronavirus pandemic closely to determine the best course of action regarding my clients and their appointments.

Due to the current state of this national emergency, I regret to inform you that I will be closing my doors for the foreseeable future. Although the state of Connecticut is not yet requiring massage therapy practices to shut down, most LMTs are taking preventative measures to flatten the curve and stop the spread of this virus to potentially vulnerable populations.

Due to the hands-on nature of massage therapy, sometimes precautions are not enough. I would hate to unknowingly spread the virus to any of my clients, in the event that they themselves become carriers and spread it further. We need to stay vigilant during this time, support each other, and through our efforts – hopefully things will return to normal as soon as possible.

If you would like to support me during this difficult time, I am still offering online gift certificates here: You can purchase one for yourself or for a loved one, and you will be able to use them once we are back in business.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to send me an email or give me a call.

Please, let’s stay safe, follow protocol, and get through this together.

All the best,

David Bray, B.S., L.M.T.

Perfect for Relaxation and Tension Relief for Those 'Stubborn' Areas

Back Massage

Perfect for Relaxation and Stress Relief after a Long Day

Uses five styles of long, flowing strokes to work the superficial layers of the body. This type of work will help decrease blood pressure, stimulate blood and lymph flow, relieve pain, increase joint mobility, and relax overused muscles.

Balance Your Chakras to Restore Your Holistic Wellness - Physical, Mental, and Spiritual

Works on the body's energy system, also known as chakras in Sanskrit. The word chakra translates to "wheel" or "vortex." The chakras are located along the centerline of the body. Similar to the Eastern theory of Acupressure, if our chakras are imbalanced, pathologies and emotional states may arise. Chakra Balancing works to restore balance and promotes deep-seated, profound healing.
